At the recent State of Your Detroit Regional Chamber meeting, GS3 CEO Lisa Lunsford advocated for exposing young people to the benefits of unconventional education and career paths. 

Lisa often says “If you see it, you will be it,” which is why she promotes GS3’s participation in events like Career Day and Manufacturing Day. She believes that appealing to students and their existing interests and aspirations can help develop the next generation of the automotive workforce.

One of the country’s “largest and most effective” chambers of commerce, the Detroit Regional Chamber uses this annual event to connect its board of directors with other chamber members, as well as to present its annual report.

Lisa was named to the Detroit Regional Chamber’s board of directors in 2018.
