Lisa Lunsford, GS3’s CEO and Co-Founder, shared words of experience, encouragement and empowerment with young women attending the 2018 NAWBO/EXCEL GirlBiz gathering.

NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners) designed this program to educate teenage girls about financial independence. Its one-day conferences and workshops focus primarily on entrepreneurship and economic responsibility.

GirlBiz events introduce young students to women business owners who volunteer their time to teach the participants how to “build” four key skills: purpose, passion, power, and profit. Leaders speak with attendees about several topics, including business language, problem-solving, role modeling, and creating their own personal brands.
