The National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) has announced Global Strategic Supply Solutions (GS3 Global) as a recipient of the 2015 Regional Supplier of the Year Award.
Lisa Lunsford, CEO and co-founder of Global Strategic Supply Solutions (GS3 Global), was inducted into the 2015 class of Michigan Chronicle’s Women of Excellence at a ceremony and mini-conference held on March 27 at the MGM Grand Hotel in Detroit. The ceremony was attended by a crowd of fellow Women of Excellence inductees, past and present, and invited guests, including keynote speaker Desiree Rogers, CEO of Johnson Publishing Company. During the induction and mini-conference, Lunsford was also chosen to speak as a featured panelist during a session entitled “Business and Finance: Fearlessly Owning Your Future.” Leading the discussion with the other members of the “Money Team,” Lunsford joined fellow female entrepreneurs to share her professional journey, discuss work/life balance, talk about building a legacy and describe what it means to take control of your financial destiny.
