Founded in a time of economic upheaval and experiencing rapid growth since then, GS3 needed to carefully plan its second stage of growth. This strategic planning had to be wide-ranging and intensive. According to Lisa, you must “look at your company and its culture to see what needs to happen…to get to the next level.”
The plan’s development and implementation should closely involve team members, Lisa recommended. “Inviting people into a discussion…thoughts can be challenged, and they can make the plan better,” she said.
