DETROIT – Oct. 22, 2015 – Global Strategic Supply Solutions (GS3 Global), the Michigan-based manufacturer and supply-chain management firm, has received the National Minority Supplier Development Council’s (NMSDC) 2015 Regional Supplier of the Year Award. Presented at the organization’s national conference in San Diego on Oct. 21, the award recognizes minority business enterprises for their business growth and development, operational success, support of other minority businesses and active participation in the community. Only sixteen businesses were selected as 2015 Regional Supplier of the Year winners from a field of over 12,000 NMSDC-certified companies across the country.
“It is gratifying to be recognized at the national level, and it’s a testament to the excellence and growth that our team has achieved over the last five years,” said GS3 Global co-founder and CEO Lisa Lunsford. “This award really brings into focus our ongoing responsibility to make sure that our impact on our industry and our community reflects the priorities that we’ve valued since day one – creating and delivering the best solutions for our customers, and putting people to work to benefit the communities we call home.”
